When did just being healthy become so complicated? It seems that conflicting information abounds on the subject of diet, nutritional supplements and healthy living - not to mention great divide between natural and conventional medicine.

Once upon a time we didn’t worry about our food because we grew it ourselves - or at least knew the person who did. Nowadays much of our collective diet is the result of industrial processes. Increasingly disconnected from the origins of our food, we moved towards “science” to determine what a healthy diet is. Are we moving in the right direction?
